Lohan reunites with father during rehab

PROVO, Utah, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly has reunited with her estranged father during a stay at a rehabilitation facility in Utah.

The New York Post reported Saturday that, according to Michael Lohan, he and his daughter ended their three-year estrangement while she was staying at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah.

"It's wonderful," he said Friday. "She's doing great. When she saw me, she jumped into my arms. She's my Lindsay, and I love her. I thank God this reunion has taken place."

The "Mean Girls" star had been at the Utah treatment facility as part of her July arrest on charges of cocaine possession and driving under the influence.

Lohan's mother, Dina, approved of the family reunion despite having recently finalized her divorce from the film star's father.

"Lindsay, myself and (son) Michael Jr. agreed that it would be good for her to have some closure with the situation with her dad," she told the Post.
