NEW YORK, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- New York actress and comedian Rosie O’Donnell says she tuned in to watch Whoopi Goldberg’s debut as moderator of “The View,” E! Online reported Tuesday.

O’Donnell held the position for most of the show’s 10th season last year.

Shortly before her one-year contract was up, she left the show after an on-air spat with her Republican co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

"It was all right," O'Donnell said of the 11th season premiere of "The View." "It was good. Whoopi was good. It was OK."

In her video blog at rosie.com, O'Donnell also discussed the ABC chat-fest’s new orange and yellow studio set.

"That," she said, "was an error in judgment."
