LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Actors Sara Gilbert and Johnny Galecki, who played sweethearts in the U.S. sit-com, “Roseanne,” are set to reunite on the small screen this fall.
The pair will appear together on Galecki's new CBS comedy series, "The Big Bang Theory," the Hollywood Reporter has said.
Set to premiere Sept. 24, the show is about two socially inept physicists -- played by Galecki and "Judging Amy" actor Jim Parsons -- who befriend their new pretty neighbor, portrayed by "Charmed" cutie, Kaley Cuoco.
Gilbert will appear in several episodes as a co-worker and potential love interest of Galecki’s character, Leonard.
The actress earned two Emmy Award nominations for her portrayal of acid-tongued Darlene Conner on the long-running ABC series,“Roseanne.” She has since acted in episodes of "ER" and "Twins."
Galecki has co-starred in the films "Suicide Kings" and "Bounce."
