Post, CBS to share Web election content

WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- The Washington Post and CBS News will share Web content from coverage during the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign, the Post announced Tuesday.

In a statement on its Web site, the newspaper said the two news organizations will "leverage the best of their campaign coverage to take readers deep inside the race for the White House."

Washingtonpost.com will feature video coverage from CBS News while news, analysis and commentary from the Post will appear on CBSNews.com, Editor & Publisher reported Tuesday. Each site will promote the partnership by linking to the other's political coverage.
