CHICAGO, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Actress Angelina Jolie, with Brad Pitt and children in tow, has checked into the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago for the filming of "Wanted."
In an O. Henry twist, the hotel on Chicago's Gold Coast is the same place where Jennifer Aniston -- Pitt's ex -- sought refuge in 2005 when she and Pitt split -- after he and Jolie became an item.
Why celebrities gravitate to the Peninsula Hotel is simple, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Thursday. Since opening in 2001, the hotel provides the high level of service, state-of-the-art amenities and top-drawer security stars crave in keeping out of the public eye and the photographers' lens.
The couple requested nothing out of the ordinary for their estimated two-week stay.
"(They) are totally low maintenance and keep completely to themselves," a source told the Sun-Times, adding they just wanted information such as the nearest hospital emergency room, pharmacy and restaurants with kitchens that stayed open late.
