LONDON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- British actor Rupert Everett caused the BBC One's "Breakfast" hosts to blush when he related youthful "sexcapades" in the back of movie houses.
Hosts Suzanna Reid and Charlie Stayt steered Everett, the voice of Prince Charming in "Shrek The Third," on to other topics when he described a little too graphically what went on between couples in the "dark and sexy" theaters, The Telegraph reported Friday. They reminded him the show was morning fare and Everett made no further references.
He was on the show to promote his autobiography, "Red Carpets and Other Banana Skins," and his role in the upcoming movie, "St. Trinian's."
A BBC spokesman said that broadcaster could not control what guests said on air, and incidents of "inappropriate" comments "sometimes happens on live broadcasts."
At least four complaints have been filed.
