NEW YORK, July 24 (UPI) -- The sister of a Texas county prosecutor who committed suicide after he was arrested during a sex predator sting filed a $105 million lawsuit against NBC.

In her federal lawsuit, Patricia Conradt charged "Dateline" sought to trap government officials with decoys whose Internet personas were minors seeking men for sexual encounters, The Dallas Morning News reported Tuesday. The lawsuit said the circumstances around Louis Conradt Jr.'s arrest and his position in the legal community made his suicide "reasonably foreseeable."

The activity was aired on the NBC "Dateline" show "To Catch a Predator"

The Collin County, Texas, district attorney declined to prosecute more than 20 cases stemming from a sting last year that drew men to a house in Murphy, where police and cameras were waiting.

Louis Conradt Jr., who did not go to the sting house, shot himself in the head after law enforcement officials forced their way into his Terrell home in November. NBC was outside with cameras.

Jenny Tartikoff, a "Dateline" spokeswoman, said the network does not comment on pending litigation. The suit was filed Monday in the U.S. Southern District Court of New York, where the network's offices are based.
