NEW YORK, July 20 (UPI) -- BET Networks, the leading U.S. provider of entertainment and news programming for the African-American audience, has named three new executives.
Scott Mills, as president and chief operating officer, will lead the company's business operations, the Viacom unit said in a news release. Mills will report to Debra Lee, chairman and chief executive officer of BET Networks.
As chief financial officer, Michael Pickrum will be responsible for managing the financial operations for BET Networks as well as play a strategic role in overall company management.
Named president of digital media, Denmark West is responsible for expanding the network's digital portfolio.
Mills and Pickrum will be based in Washington and West will be based in New York.
