LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Busy mother and pop superstar Madonna is taking time out to make a documentary about Malawi.

The singer was so moved by her visit to the African country, the birthplace of her newly adopted son David Banda, she decided to make a short film about the problems Malawians face, Teen Hollywood said.

Madonna has been working on the film for a year, her spokeswoman told The Scoop, though she was at times bogged down by the difficult subject material.

Madonna also was mobbed recently after trying to attend Justin Timberlake's London concert in disguise, her manager said. The two are working on an album together.
