ORLANDO, Fla., July 10 (UPI) -- Actor-comedian Chris Tucker has been spending time between "Rush Hour" movies spending money on a 14,000-square-foot waterfront mansion near Orlando, Fla.

Tucker paid $6 million for the home on a little more than an acre at Bella Collina, a lavish new private community, the Orlando Sentinel reported Tuesday.

The two-story home has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a spa in the master suite and an outdoor kitchen overlooking the pool and lake. A shower with clear walls overlooks an outside garden. The basement is built out like a pirate ship, complete with a wooden deck and rails, a mast, sail and rigging. Seats along the stern face a home theater screen.

Celebrities buying lots in the gated community include pro golfers Nick Faldo and Hale Irwin, as well as Lucille O'Neal, mother of basketball star Shaquille O'Neal.

Tucker teamed with Jackie Chan for their third movie in the popular "Rush Hour" series set to open Aug. 10. His last movie was "Rush Hour 2" in 2001.

Tucker has homes in Georgia and California.
