Rep: Macaulay Culkin is in good health
LOS ANGELES, July 10 (UPI) -- Actor Charlie Sheen and girlfriend Brooke Mueller are engaged after the "Two and a Half Men" star proposed to her on a Costa Rican beach, friends said.
The couple's engagement was first reported last week and later confirmed by a Sheen family friend, People magazine reported Tuesday. According to a published report, Sheen presented Mueller with a $500,000 engagement ring.
Sheen became free to wed in November, when his marriage to Denise Richards legally ended. They have two daughters, Lola, 2, and Sam, 3.
Richards and Muller, a Los Angeles real estate investor, recently were spotted together.
"Denise wants her to feel comfortable," a Richards friend told People in an earlier interview.
