ROSWELL, N.M., July 8 (UPI) -- A UFO festival that kicked off Friday in Roswell, N.M., brought in extraterrestrial enthusiasts from around the world for four days of festivities.
Turkish psychic and UFO researcher Farah Yurdozu, "The X-Files" actor Dean Haglund and "Star Trek" actress Chase Masterson are among those attending, the Roswell Daily record reported Sunday.
Yurdozu presented a lecture entitled "UFO Files from Turkish Government and Media" at the festival, where she wondered whether the 60th anniversary of the Roswell Incident was observed on another planet.
"What's the meaning of the crash to the aliens?" she said Thursday.
Haglund spent most of his time selling laptop cooling devices known as Chill Paks and The Lone Gunman comics, which he draws.
"I love (Roswell)," Haglund said. "It's such a cute little town."
Masterson, who played an alien on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," sold autographed pictures and posters to raise money for Iris Ministries Inc., an interdenominational Christian charity founded in 1980.
