LONDON, July 8 (UPI) -- Spice Girl Gerri Halliwell has angered some of her neighbors by erecting a 12-foot wall around her London home, it was reported Sunday.
One neighbor told the Mail on Sunday the imposing brick wall makes the $8 million mansion occupied by "Ginger Spice" and her daughter, Bluebell Madonna, look like "a prison."
"When Geri moved in we assumed she would want privacy, but none of us expected her to build such a big ugly wall," the neighbor was quoted as saying. "It's a beautiful and very residential street but Geri's house looks like a prison."
Halliwell was the victim of a burglary six years ago and has been back in the public eye since the Spice Girls announced their regrouping and reunion tour.
Behind the wall, Halliwell's house has a state-of-the-art security system, the newspaper noted.
