Sedgwick, Cryer to announce Emmy nominees

LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- "The Closer" star Kyra Sedgwick and Jon Cryer of "Two and a Half Men" will be early risers when they reveal the primetime Emmy nominees in Los Angeles.

Sedgwick and Cryer, both nominees in 2006, will join Dick Askin, chairman and chief executive officer of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, at the podium at 5:40 a.m. PDT, July 19 to announce nominees at the Academy's Leonard H. Holdenson Theater, Entertainment Tonight reported Friday.

The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sept. 16 on Fox from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
