SAN ANTONIO, June 28 (UPI) -- The date -- July 7 -- is known, as are the bride and groom, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spur Tony Parker, but not much else.

The couple, engaged in November, are among thousands of U.S. couples selecting the most popular and perhaps luckiest day of the century so far: 7-7-07, the San Antonio Express News reported. The wedding and reception will be in France. Longoria will wear a couture wedding gown. The guest list includes Hollywood A-listers and National Basketball Association champs.

It's also, according to Longoria's publicist Liza Anderson, "a very personal, private event for family and friends."

Parker told CBS' David Letterman, "I'm just going to show up and say 'yes.'" He later added "all I did" was choose the music and food.

Parker also discussed some of the details on French television, saying the reception would be at a castle famous for its grandeur and gardens -- and used for part of Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette."

When asked about the wedding during the NBA playoffs, Spurs teammate Brent Barry said, "I think it's going to be so gaudy and over the top. I can't wait."
