Surprise! Nancy Grace is wife, mom-to-be

NEW YORK, June 27 (UPI) -- Nancy Grace dropped a bombshell on the New York Post, telling the newspaper she got married "secretly" in April and is expecting twins in January.

Grace, 47, planned to make her news official on Wednesday night on her CNN Headline News show, "Nancy Grace." When she talked to the paper, she said she hadn't informed her bosses at CNN yet.

Grace's husband, David Linch, is an Atlanta banker.

Grace told the Post she has known Linch since their undergraduate days at Mercer College in the 1970s. The two "kept in touch," she said, but were "separated by geography and time."

She called her marriage and pregnancy a "blessing."

Grace developed an interest in victim advocacy when her fiance was killed in 1980. A robber shot Keith Griffin five times and stole $35 from his wallet.

Grace decided then to go to law school instead of becoming an English professor.

Grace "declined to say whether she'd had fertility treatments," the Post said.
