Rosie O'Donnell returning to 'Nip/Tuck'

LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- Rosie O'Donnell is coming back to "Nip/Tuck" this fall and will play the love interest to guest star Oliver Platt on the U.S. TV show.

Access Hollywood reported Tuesday O'Donnell is signed up for several episodes of the FX series' fifth season, playing the part of lottery winner Dawn Budge. Platt plays the executive producer of "Hearts and Scalpels", a soap opera in which doctors become creative consultants.

It's also been reported O'Donnell may wind up with her own spin-off series but nothing has been confirmed as yet, Access Hollywood said.
