'Office' star recovering from back injury

LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Steve Carell said Jenna Fischer, his co-star on TV's "The Office," is expected to make a full recovery after breaking her back last month.

The 33-year-old actress, who plays receptionist Pam on the popular comedy, fractured her back in four places this spring when she fell down a flight of stars at a party in New York City.

"She's doing much better. She's back in Los Angeles," Carell said while promoting his film "Evan Almighty" in Los Angeles. "She will be completely fine. She's going to kind of lay low. She wasn't working this summer, so she can kind of just take it easy and start rehabbing it, but she's going to be fine."
