Judge Larry Seidlin to shoot TV pilot

LOS ANGELES, June 23 (UPI) -- Judge Larry Seidlin, who oversaw the legal wrangling over Anna Nicole Smith's remains, will shoot a pilot for his new court show in Los Angeles next month.

Seidlin has made a deal with CBS Television Distribution to launch the show in 2008, the New York Daily News reported Saturday.

He spent a week in Hollywood searching for a television deal before submitting his resignation to Broward County Court in Florida. His last scheduled day of work is July 31.

Seidlin said he doesn't know what his future might be on television.

"There's a lot of things we'll explore," he said, turning to his 6-year-old daughter, Dax, and asking, "What do you think, my little one? Do you want to see me on TV? Do you want to be on TV with me?"

"Yes," she responded.
