NEW YORK, June 22 (UPI) -- They say love is patient, and it sure was for singer Tony Bennett his longtime sweetheart Susan Crow, who married in New York after a 20-year courtship.
The couple were married in a private civil ceremony, People magazine reported Friday.

Former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo and his wife Matilda attended the Thursday ceremony as witnesses. The newlyweds will honeymoon in Italy.
This is the third marriage for Bennett, 80, and the first for Crow. The couple co-founded the charitable organization Exploring the Arts, which supports arts education programs for young artists.
