LONDON, June 21 (UPI) -- Rock music icon Paul McCartney celebrated his 65th birthday by playing dress-up at a celebration at his London home.

The Daily Record said Thursday the former Beatle's birthday bash had a "Great Gatsby" theme from the Roaring '20s.

Among those attending the gala were Elton John, Beatles producer George Martin and model Kate Moss. Also on hand was McCartney's daughter, Stella, but his estranged wife Heather Mills apparently missed Monday's shindig.

McCartney turned 65 as his new album, "Memory Almost Full," reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard album chart.
