LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Former Beatle Ringo Starr will release a catalog of his solo music for download on the Internet, his music publisher announced in California.

The available music will include the albums "Beaucoups of Blues" from 1970 and "Ringo" from 1973 as well as a new compilation called "Photograph: The Very Best of Ringo Starr," the EMI Web site release stated Tuesday.

"It's good to be back," said Starr about the music, which will be available in August, being up on the Internet.

Starr, 66, will also release a new solo album called "Liverpool 8" early next year.

There will also be six Ringo Starr ring tones for his mobile fans.

EMI Music Marketing President Ronn Were, on the Web site, in a statemtn on Starr's Webs site said he felt "excited and privileged" to work with Starr.

"We look forward to debuting his works in the digital format for the first time as well."
