NEW YORK, June 16 (UPI) -- Actress Angelina Jolie did her daily good deed when she stopped and helped a photographer who had a flat tire in New York.

Celebrity photographer James Ambler was trailing the star of "A Mighty Heart" around New York on his bike, when he popped one of his tires, People magazine reported Saturday.

While figuring out what he was going to do, Jolie's car pulled up to him and the driver asked if he wanted a ride. Ambler, whose nickname is "Lance" after cycling champ Lance Armstrong, then heard Jolie herself say, "Come on Lance, hop in."

While riding, Jolie reportedly told Ambler she was appreciative of the space some of the photographers were giving her children. He added he was not sure exactly how much time he spent in the car with Jolie, "Time stood still," he said.

Hasselhoff gets custody of daughters

LOS ANGELES, June 16 (UPI) -- Actor David Hasselhoff has received primary custody of his two teenage daughters.

Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas ruled Hasselhoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach, could visit the girls on alternate weekends and Wednesday nights for dinner, Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin S. Goldsman, said Friday.

The ruling marked a startling reversal for the actor, who was banned from seeing Taylor-Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14, after a video of the actor drunk surfaced in May. Hasselhoff regained his parental rights by agreeing to alcohol testing, reported People magazine.

The former "Baywatch" star, now a judge on "America's Got Talent," left the courtroom smiling, telling reporters, "Enough is enough, these children have been through enough."

Bach didn't comment, but was seen crying in the courthouse hallway, People said. Hasselhoff, 54, and Bach, 42, filed for divorce in January 2006 after 16 years of marriage. They have battled over money and custody of their daughters ever since.

The 62-year-old Stewart and his 36-year-old bride were hitched in a small town near the resort of Portofino with only two witnesses present and the town hall official presiding, People magazine reported.
