MIAMI, June 15 (UPI) -- In Miami Friday, the father of the man O.J. Simpson was accused of killing won the rights to a book written by the former NFL star called "If I Did It."
An attorney for Fred Goldman, the father of Ron Goldman -- killed along with Simpson's former wife, Nicole Brown, in 1994 -- said Simpson's tome telling the story of the slayings in hypothetical terms could wind up in bookstores under a new title, "Confessions of a Double Murderer," CNN reported.
Goldman filed suit after it became public that Simpson received a $900,000 advance for the book. Although he was acquitted of the killings in criminal court, a civil court found him liable for wrongful death and ordered Simpson to pay the victims' families $33.5 million.
