Lohan's dad in family court

NEW YORK, June 8 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan's father was in family court in New York seeking the right to visit his children, but the actress' mother wasn't.

Dina Lohan reportedly was visiting her daughter in a California rehabilitation clinic, where the "Georgia Rule" star was being treated for drug and alcohol addiction, New York Newsday reported Friday.

The matter of visitation had been adjourned since May to give lawyers time to discuss a possible agreement.

Michael Lohan recently finished serving two years in jail for attempted assault and aggravated unlicensed driving.
