SAGAPONACK, N.Y., June 5 (UPI) -- Rocker Billy Joel's New York state of mind soon may be parked in a plot of land overlooking both New York farmland and the Atlantic Ocean.

The "Piano Man" is expected to close soon on the Sagaponack, N.Y., property owned by "Jaws" star Roy Scheider, New York Newsday reported. Agents didn't reveal the selling price on the five-bedroom, five-bath, four-fireplace home, but said it was close to the $18.75 million asking price.

"I'm so happy that Billy Joel is buying it, because it's the perfect house for him," said Scheider, 74. "He can put his piano on the second floor, overlook the beach and the farmland and write beautiful music for all of us. Maybe he'll write an ocean's album."
