FAIRHAVEN, Mass., June 4 (UPI) -- The body of Ra Ra Riot drummer John Pike was found in a bay near where he was last seen after playing a weekend concert in Massachusetts.

Following a private party in Fairhaven, Mass., Pike went missing early Saturday morning, prompting band members to post messages seeking information on his whereabouts, Gigwise.com reported Monday.

After a 24-hour search police found Pike's body in water seven feet deep at Buzzards Bay, less than a mile from the party.

Condolences were posted on the Syracuse, N.Y.-based indie band's MySpace page.
