Wallace Seawall dead at 90

LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) -- Hollywood photographer Wallace Seawall, who snapped shots of The Harlem Globetrotters and President Lyndon B. Johnson, has died in Los Angeles at age 90.

Seawall died Tuesday of age-related causes at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.

Seawall also took shots of Sophia Loren, Tony Curtis, Gregory Peck, Ronald and Nancy Reagan, the duke and duchess of Windsor, the Gabor sisters, the shah of Iran, and the king and queen of Siam. He also shot album photos for recording artists Johnny Mathis, Peggy Lee, Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross, Sam Cooke and Pearl Bailey.

"He was a very well-respected photographer," said actor Robert Wagner. "He was very forthright, and you felt very comfortable with him; he was at the top of his game."
