GLASTONBURY, England, June 1 (UPI) -- More than 200 acts, including The Who, The Killers and Arctic Monkeys, are set to play the Glastonbury Festival in Britain this month.
Also taking the main stage during the three-day festival that kicks off June 22, will be Kasabian, The Fratellis, Bloc Party and the Kooks, The Times of London reported Friday.
"You could not dream up what has happened to this festival," organizer Michael Eavis said. "It never fails to amaze me."
Attendance for the sold-out event is expected to be 177,500.
The festival also is going green this year.
Festival-goers will wash in carbon neutral showers and use recycled toilet paper. Organic food will be available and participants will be invited to join the I Count campaign, which provides 16 ways to reduce environmental impact.
