ANDOVER, Minn., May 31 (UPI) -- What happened to a Minnesota man read like an episode from "The Jerry Springer Show": He proposes to his ex-wife, she wants him back, he lands in jail.
Wait a minute. It did happen on Springer's show, which thrives on confrontation and the unexpected.
Thomas Michael Glynn of Andover, Minn., went on "The Jerry Springer Show" to re-propose to his ex-wife, the (St. Paul, Minn.) Pioneer Press reported Thursday. While on the show, he planted a kiss on his former spouse, who said she wanted him back.
The problem is, Glynn, convicted for choking his wife, committed multiple violations of his probation, including a no-contact order. An Anoka County, Minn., probation officer for the Minneapolis-St. Paul suburban community saw the show and had Glynn arrested because he wasn't suppose to see his former wife.
Anoka County Judge Sharon Hall sent Glynn, 32, back to prison, where he'll likely serve nine months.
