MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 30 (UPI) -- Google co-founder Sergey Brin no longer is one of America's youngest and richest bachelors, marrying Anne Wojcicki in a private ceremony in the Bahamas.

The wedding this month was so private that reports said word didn't leak out for more than a week, ABC News reported.

Brin was introduced to his wife by her sister, who leased the garage at her Menlo Park, Calif., home to Brin for office space once he and co-founder Larry Page incorporated Google.

The couple married on a sandbar off a secluded island in the Bahamas. Most guests, flown to the island on a jet owned by Brin and Page, boated to the sandbar, but the couple, both 33 years old, swam to the ceremony, ABC reported. She wore a white bathing suit; he wore black.

Official confirmation of the wedding was noted in a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Google, headquartered in Mountain View, Calif., disclosed a $3.9 million investment in Wojcicki's company, 23andMe. Brin personally loaned the company $2.6 million, which was repaid as part of Google's investment.
