AVON, Colo., May 29 (UPI) -- Items from the estate of the late U.S. President Gerald Ford -- including golf clubs and skis -- will be auctioned in Colorado to benefit three charities.

The items are from the White House and from Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado, where he and his wife, Betty, lived, the Rocky Mountain News in Denver reported Tuesday.

The auction will be July 7 at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort in Avon, Colo.

Proceeds will benefit the free Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, the Eagle River Scholarship Fund and the OK Corral Camp for ill children, which is under construction.
