
NEW YORK, May 23 (UPI) -- Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart of U.S. album sales with first-week sales of 623,000, the most so far in 2007.
It's the biggest debut-week figure since Jay-Z's "Kingdome Come" sold 680,000 in December.
R&B singer Tank rumbled to No. 2 with his third album, "Sex, Love & Pain."
After topping the chart last week, Michael Buble's "Call Me Irresponsible" slipped to No. 3.
Bowing at No. 4 was Wilco's "Sky Blue Sky."
"One of the Boys" by country singer Gretchen Wilson jumped onto the album chart at No. 5.
Slipping from No. 5 to No. 6 was Avril Lavigne's "The Best Damn Thing," while Ne-Yo's "Because of You" fell from No. 4 to No. 7.
Veteran heavy metal group Megadeth earned its first top 10 album in 13 years as "United Abominations" debuted at No. 8.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's "Strength & Loyalty" skidded from No. 2 to No. 9, while Daughtry's self-titled debut album fell from No. 6 to No. 10.
