BAKERSFIELD, Calif., May 8 (UPI) -- Actor Tom Sizemore has landed in jail, after police in Bakersfield, Calif., reportedly caught him with methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia.
Sizemore -- who has a history of substance abuse and legal problems -- might have avoided his newest round of trouble, had he refrained from arguing with hotel staff at the Four Points Sheraton, E! Online reported. Sizemore and his friend, actor Jason Salcedo, allegedly threatened to beat up a hotel clerk Tuesday morning, because the clerk couldn't find their reservation.
Hotel staff called police, who said they found Sizemore and Salcedo in their car with the stash.
Bakersfield Police Detective Greg Terry told E! Online Sizemore "displayed symptoms of being under the influence."
Sizemore has previously been convicted in a domestic violence case for roughing up former girlfriend Heidi Fleiss. He was convicted in 2004 for methamphetamine possession.
Sizemore's film credits include "Saving Private Ryan" and "Black Hawk Down."
