LAS VEGAS, May 7 (UPI) -- Oscar De La Hoya lost the super welterweight title in Las Vegas, but an hour after the match his wife Millie Corretjer announced a baby is on the way.

Corretjer, 33, told the Los Angeles Times she planned to tell her husband the news later that night. This will be her second child.

De La Hoya, 34, has two children from previous relationships and a son by Corretjer.

Corretjer is a successful Puerto Rican pop singer, the Times said.
