The event, which runs until Sept. 1 at London's County Hall will feature original Yoda, C-3PO and Darth Vader costumes, the BBC reported Saturday.

The first "Star Wars" film was released on May 25, 1977, and won six Oscars.

At "Star Wars" World, there will be Jedi masters teaching subjects like the anatomy of Death Stars, the Force and Midi-chlorians to those why may be unfamiliar with the "Star Wars" universe.

"We are expecting serious numbers through the door -- this is the biggest of its kind in the UK," said a spokesman for the event.
