LAS VEGAS, April 27 (UPI) -- Pamela Anderson has signed up to do a Las Vegas show with the Dutch magician Hans Klok.

The 39-year-old former "Baywatch" life guard sais spending the summer as "The Beauty of Magic" at Planet Hollywood Resort will fulfill her "dream of becoming a Vegas showgirl," the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Friday.

"Another one off my list," she said.

Anderson, who will take her two children with her to Las Vegas for the run of the engagement, is replacing another "Baywatch" alum, Carmen Electra, who pulled out this week after finding the magic tricks "too difficult," Klok said Thursday.

A source said it turns out Electra is claustrophobic, preventing her from being confined inside Klok's apparatus long enough to complete the illusions, the newspaper said.

Klok said Anderson "wanted to do big magic and difficult magic. She's gonna do some dangerous stuff."

The change in femme stars means the start of the show is being pushed back from May 12 to June 2, following a preview period starting May 24.
