LOS ANGELES, April 25 (UPI) -- A tumble and a passable Paso Doble did in British activist Heather Mills, who was eliminated Tuesday from "Dancing With The Stars" competition in Los Angeles.

Mills, who has worn a prosthesis since losing her left leg in a road accident, held her own for six weeks, earning praise from the judges for her passion on the dance floor, E! News said Tuesday.

However, the judges were not pleased with Mills' upper body positioning and form.

"We knew we were going out," Mills, the soon-to-be-ex-wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney, said after being eliminated Tuesday. "We were in the bottom two last week. We're not surprised."

After thanking partner Jonathan Roberts and others, the animal rights activist said her participation on the show "raised a fortune for our charity and hundreds of thousands of animals' lives will be saved."
