LONDON, April 22 (UPI) -- A source close to British singer Amy Winehouse has confirmed she and boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil are now engaged.
Fielder-Civil reportedly proposed with a diamond ring from Tiffany, People Magazine reported in its current issue.
"I'm a very lucky girl to have found someone I love so much," said Winehouse, 23, flashing her ring. "I hope to be with him for the rest of my life. We haven't set a date yet or anything like that."
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil started dating two and a half years ago, but later split because Fielder-Civil also was in another relationship. They were apart for nearly a year before getting back together last month.
They got back together after Winehouse and her boyfriend of nearly a year, chef Alex Claire, split this year.
Winehouse told a British newspaper, The Sun, that he "proposed at home a few days ago and I took a day to finally agree. Obviously we are both young and it is frightening. But it is the right thing to do. That is why I agreed."
