BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 15 (UPI) -- Actress Renee Zellweger will receive the 2007 Women in Film Crystal Award for Excellence in Beverly Hills, Calif., on June 14.
Also, Shonda Rhimes will receive the Lucy Award for excellence in television for her behind-the-camera work on "Grey's Anatomy," Daily Variety reported Sunday.
The MaxMara "Face of the Future" Award is going to British actress Emily Blunt and the WIF's Dorothy Arzner Directing Award will be presented to Nancy Meyers.
The awards ceremony itself will take place during a dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Also, producer Kathleen Kennedy will be the first-ever recipient of the Paltrow Mentorship Award and Uta Briesewitz will be presented with the Kodak Vision Award for her cinematography work.
"I can think of no better way to inspire the next creative generation than to honor these incredible women, who have consistently provided the highest quality entertainment to audiences worldwide," said Jane Fleming, the organizations president.
