NASSAU, Bahamas, April 9 (UPI) -- The father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter should be known Tuesday when DNA test results are expected to be revealed in a Bahaman court, it was reported.

If the results show that Howard K. Stern, Smith's companion, is not the father of Dannielynn, he reportedly said he would not continue his fight for custody, Access Hollywood said Monday.

Larry Birkhead, Smith's former lover who also contends he's the father of the 7-month-old child, told Access Hollywood that Stern will not continue his custody fight if Birkhead is proved to be the father.

"We talked and I guess what Howard wants to do and what we both agreed upon, is we both want to do what's best for Dannielynn," Birkhead said in an interview with the syndicated show. "Any time anyone says they're not gonna fight you in this kind of battle is music to my ears."
