Travolta forced to make emergency landing

SHANNON, Ireland, April 5 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor John Travolta was forced to make an emergency landing in Ireland while flying to the United States from Germany after promoting "Wild Hogs."

The pilot-actor, who was not hurt, landed safely at Shannon Airport after his Boeing 707 suffered "technical difficulties" in mid-flight, the Irish Examiner said Wednesday.
