LOS ANGELES, April 3 (UPI) -- All it took was a five-hour face-to-face in Los Angeles for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline to finalize terms of their divorce settlement.
The two parties aren't saying but it is rumored Federline will get a lump-sum payment of $1 million, Associated Content reported Tuesday.
Under terms of the settlement reached in the Los Angeles offices of Spear's lawyers last Thursday, she and Federline will share custody of their sons, 18-month-old Sean and 6-month-old Jayden. The 25-year-old pop singer and 29-year-old former dancer had signed a prenuptial agreement before getting married in September 2004.
"The parties signed a global agreement on all issues of their marriage and custody of their children," a spokesman for Federline's attorney said. Without providing details, he said they had agreed on financial matters.
Spears, who recently completed a stay at a treatment facility following a string of bizarre incidents, was said to have spent this past weekend in Las Vegas. She wore a blond wig while dining quietly at Tao Asian Bistro with two girlfriends and sipping a cola, according to another diner.
