NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- Women wanting a wardrobe that won't bite their wallets soon can buy Sarah Jessica Parker's "Bitten" line at Steve & Barry's U.S. stores.
While Parker is known as a spendy fashion "trendinista" for her former role on the TV series, "Sex and the City," all clothing and accessories in her line will retail for $20 or less when they hit the mall stores in June, CNNMoney.com reported Friday.
"Women should be able to wear great clothes and not lie in bed at night feeling guilty about how much money they've spent," Parker said in a statement.
The "Bitten" collection of about 500 items carries the tagline "Fashion is not a luxury, it's a right."
Steve & Barry's said in a statement that Parker decided to enter into the exclusive arrangement after learning of the company's philosophy to offer high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible prices. The label will include knit shirts, wool and cashmere sweaters, dresses, lingerie, jeans, jewelry and footwear.
