Foxy Brown charged in Fla. incident

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla., March 8 (UPI) -- Police in Florida charged rapper Foxy Brown with misdemeanor battery and resisting without violence in a disturbance at a Florida beauty supplies shop.

According to the police report, Brown allegedly threw hair glue at an employee of the Pembroke Pines, Fla., shop and then swung her arms in a struggle with a police officer who was attempting to get Brown to leave the shop after it closed, TMZ.com said Thursday.

Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, last week was spared jail time by a New York judge after violating conditions of the probation sentence she received after a fight at a New York nail salon in 2004.
