CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 6 (UPI) -- KISS rocker Paul Stanley, whose artistic bent is seen in designs of album covers, stages and apparel, will exhibit his artwork at a gallery in Charlotte N.C.

Stanley has been a singer with one of the most recognizable bands in rock 'n' roll history for more than three decades.

Stanley's portraits and abstracts are "emotionally charged compositions," said the Wentworth Gallery, where the exhibition is planned in early May. "He aims to maximize the direct, physical impact of his paintings through scale, texture, color and simplicity of images."
