Will Smith nervous about daughter dating

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Alan Arkin won the Oscar Sunday for his supporting role as an irascible grandfather in "Little Miss Sunshine" at the 79th Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
Arkin thanked the cast and crew of the film for bringing "the sense of joy trust and community that the film speaks about."
He said he was deeply moved at all the attention that the film received.
Others nominated were Jackie Earle Haley for "Little Children," Djimon Hounsou for "Blood Diamond," Mark Wahlberg for "The Departed" and Eddie Murphy for "Dreamgirls." Murphy previously earned a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award for his performance.
