'Instinct 2' bags four Razzies

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- "Basic Instinct 2" was the big winner -- or loser, depending on your point of view -- taking four trophies at the 2007 Golden Raspberry Awards in Los Angeles.

The movie -- which the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has dubbed "Basically, It Stinks Too" -- took the prize for worst picture, worst screenplay, worst prequel or sequel and worst actress for Sharon Stone.

"Little Man" finished with three Razzies -- as the statuettes are called. It "won" for worst remake (or worst rip-off) and its creators, Shawn and Marlon Wayans were singled out for worst screen couple and -- jointly -- for worst actor.

M. Night Shyamalan was singled out twice for "Lady in the Water," both as worst director and as worst supporting actor.

Carmen Electra was "dis-honored" as worst supporting actress for her turns in "Date Movie" and "Scary Movie 4."

The Razzies added a new category this year -- worst excuse for family entertainment. The "award" went to the Robin Williams road comedy, "RV."

The Razzies are presented each year as a tongue-in-cheek tribute to what the foundation's voting members regard as the worst Hollywood has to offer.
