'Desperate' housewife Cross has twins

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- The population has doubled at the Los Angeles home of "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross and husband Tom Mahoney with the birth of twin girls.

The fraternal twins, Eden and Savanah, were born Tuesday, E! News said.

The girls are the first children for Cross and Mahoney, who married in June 2006. The couple announced the pregnancy in September and later amended the announcement to reflect that Cross, 44, was carrying twins.
