Amanda Bynes released on her own recognizance after pot bust

NEW YORK, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- American rap star Jay-Z added Cherry Coke to his promotions list, which already included Hewlett-Packard, Budweiser and the National Basketball Association.
Being the face for the re-launch of Cherry Coke is the latest in a series of strategic moves made in the past couple of years by Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, who is CEO of Def Jam Records and Roc-A-Fella Records in New York, ArtistDirect said.
"It's his new opportunity to expand his standing in the business world," said Jameel Spencer, CMO of Rocawear, Jay-Z's clothing line. "Besides just recording, he's making TV commercials and campaigns for brands."
